is it maybe i dont want to ruin the friendship i had and we may never go back to being friends or whatWomen do you think this view is wierd for a man or what do you think and advice?
f you take the plunge to enter a relationship with a woman, friend or otherwise, you risk 'ruining' the friendship to begin with. It is a risk, but a risk that, if you like the lady well enough, is worth taking.
Furthermore, sex in a relationship is an extension of that relationship--a healthy and vital one at that! In your case, it seems that you don't want to have sex because you feel like this somehow is debasing of the relationship, turning it into a mere physical romp and running the risk of losing the friendship (because sex becomes more important?). However, I believe a relationship is only in risk of ruin if sex comes too soon, when neither of you are ready. Wait until you are completely comfortable, talk about it with her when the time comes, and I'm sure you'll be ok.
Sex shouldn't be perceived through the eyes of porn, which, in many cases, seems extremely lustful, temporal, and 'disrespectful' to the name of relationships. It is something, that when two people are in love, enhances that love, expresses it on another level, and can be completely beautiful and encompassing.
Good luck with your lady. I say take the risk for the relationship and see where it goes. Don't rush sex and =)Women do you think this view is wierd for a man or what do you think and advice?
There's nothing wrong with being friends first. But it really seems like you have some issues with sexual repression that could make it difficult for you in serious relationship later.
