Shave it, bleach it or get nair for your face.Hair Above Lips Woman Only! Advice!?
Lots of women struggle with having hair there they don't like. I'm 32 so I've been dealing with it a long time.

Here are your options:

1) Bleach. If its not very thick/coarse hair, you can simply bleach it. Jolen is sold in the drug store--a special hair bleach just for that hair. It'll last for several weeks before you have to bleach again. Its just a thick paste you spread on and leave on for about 10 minutes before you rinse it off.

2) Nair. They sell a hair removal cream that basically melts the hair off. Make sure to buy one that says facial hair, your skin is more sensitive then on the rest of your body. If you have sensitive skin this might give you a rash or burn your skin.

3) Shave. No, it won't grow in darker or thicker, its a myth. It will look a little stubbly when it grows in, but provided you shave every other day or so, this is probably the easiest method and doesn't hurt. After trying everything else, this is the one that I do currently.

4) Wax/pluck. This removes the root of the hair so it'll take longer to grow back in then any of the other methods. Its also the most painful.

Most women have hair there...if you think yours is too dark or thick then you can try one of the above methods. A dark, noticeable mustache is a turn off for guys.

The more permanent methods are electrolysis or laser hair removal but those are very expensive. Probably at least $2,000.
This happens more than you would think. It's not abnormal, really. I have had the problem for many, many years. I could have done something about it, I suppose, but wasn't prepared to epilate or bleach. There may be better ';treatments'; available nowadays, but just check about the consequences. Epilation means the removal of the hair, but it then tends to grow back stronger and stronger like a man's beard or you shaving underarms. Bleaching doesn't remove the hair, it just makes it look lighter, but you could end up with a ginger moustache!

If it's really bad, and you are really worried about it, seek the help of your GP, who may refer you to a specialist who can help you further. Otherwise, learn to accept yourself and think that you are still yourself, with the personality you have, and if you're happy with that, you won't find life too difficult.
Lots of girls get hair above their lips, it's very normal. You can have it waxed regularly, but if it's super dark I'd recomend lasers to get rid of it permenantly ...but that's expensive.

and unfortunately it is a turn off for guys, but they're stupid, they are ignorant and unaware this is something nearly every woman has.
Okay so I had this problem when I was about fourteen. My hair on my upper lip got dark all the sudden. I tried to wax it off and use a nair like product but they both made me break out. When the hair grew back it seemed to be the same. I am twenty now and over the last year it has lightened up on it's own. It might be hormones that are making it dark. That is what happened to me. If you want to know for sure go to your doctor and see if it will go away like mine did or if it is permanent. If it is permanent the safest thing to do, so it wont look obvious that you are removing it, is to bleach it.
Yes, it's normal. Everyone has it, some people are lucky to have blonde hair there, that's why it's not as noticeable, but for the remainder of us, well we just gotta get it removed. I'd advise using hair removal cream, as getting it wax may be too harsh on your skin at your age. (:
Ok, whatever you do DONT shave it off. Just go get it waxed untill you learn how to yourself. It shouldnt cost that much, around 10$. Its the best way to get rid of it, and you do it about no more than every month and a half. Or you could go to the store and get wax strips and go at it. And it dont hurt that bad at all. Most females do get it.
Its perfectly fine everyone has it just some worse than others, for example if you have dark hair its more obvious than if you have blonde or fair hair, however if it bothers you so much, i there are hair removal creams on the market and also if you go to a beauty salon they will wax it off, but if it doesn't bother you too much i wouldn't worry about it :)
you can get it waxed when you get your eyebrows waxed (assuming you're over the age of 15 or so)

it's completely normal, not fun though

tons of women have it, and get it removed once every few weeks.
every woman gets this. Go to CVS or Walmart and buy ';finishing touch'; a little electric razor made for cutting moustache hair down.
It may be due to hormonal disorders

You can go for waxing or threading
Try getting it waxed, lasered or electrically removed.
